Services We Provide
Captain D Charters offers guided fishing trips and related services on Lake Okeechobee and the Headwaters in Florida. All trips are subject to availability, weather, and safety conditions.
Booking and Payments
Bookings can be requested through our website or by phone. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a reservation. Captain D will confirm your trip within a reasonable time. Payment terms, deposits, and accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Weather
Weather and safety decisions are made at the sole discretion of Captain D. If a trip is cancelled due to unsafe conditions, we will work with you to reschedule. Customary cancellation policies may apply and will be provided at booking.
User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information when booking, follow all safety instructions during the trip, and comply with applicable fishing regulations and laws. You are responsible for obtaining any required fishing licenses.
Limitation of Liability
Guided fishing involves inherent risks. Captain D Charters and Captain Donnie VanDyke are not liable for injury, loss, or damage except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the trip in question.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Captain D Charters or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Okeechobee County, Florida.
